[ one day, caleb will run into crow when he's not lying down in the grass like he's just given up on standing. but not today. he's doing exactly that, but this time he's staring blankly up at the sky with very faraway, unfocused eyes.
when he realises he's not alone, he blinks like he's coming out of a stupor, and looks around a bit before he spots caleb. ]
I'm pretty sure whenever I close my eyes I keep seeing those weird... human hands on the cat's body, and it's haunting me. All the weirdly sexual slinking around and dancing. It wasn't even enjoyable because they're all dressed as literal cats.
[ well. crow is just sprawled out with his back to the wall of the winter dorm, staring into the distance, which he either runs the events of today through his mind or… or nothing that’s exactly what he’s doing ]
Annnnd we still don't know much more about voucher distribution, not that I think it's gonna help us much more than to afford more stuff, or why people are killing.
It gives us an idea of what everyone's been doing and whether they have or haven't spent it on things, sure.
But there's too much discrepency in vouchers and the fact we don't know everything we actually earn them for kinda prevents it from being a foolproof way of figuring out a killer after the fact.

Guess it's a case of "get it right on the night" or not at all.

Seriously, no Cats related side effects? No terrible music stuck in your head? Weird urges to drink milk? [ he's in awe of your power, sir. ]

Figured it wasn’t going to be anything good, but there’s “not good” and then there’s that.

But clearly the count of vouchers we all have is important.

[ at least he's honest. ]
We are pretty easily distracted though. Not sure how to get around that.
